On International Women's Day (8 March 2023), one batch of B.Sc. students from Horticultural College & Research Institute for Women, affiliated with TNAU, visited UPASI TRF Coonoor regional centre to understand the good practices in tea cultivation, tea manufacturing and efficient pest management.
Fourth-year B.Sc. Horticulture Students from Horticulture College & Research Institute, Coimbatore attended a training programme at the TRF Coonoor centre where special sessions on General Tea Cultivation, Nutrition Management, Pest Management, Tea Manufacturing and Marketing Strategies in Tea were held.
